Ohio State University's e-COI Process

The Ohio State University's e-COI Process & Link to e-COI Resources

University employees and researchers are subject to various conflicts of interest. The electronic Conflicts of Interest (e-COI) disclosure process serves as the single disclosure mechanism for three different potential types of conflicts:

1. Research-related conflicts that are reviewed by the Office of Research Compliance;

2. Ohio Ethics Law conflicts that are reviewed by the Office of University Compliance and Integrity and the Office of Medical Center Compliance; and

3. Physician-related conflicts reviewed by the Office of Medical Center Compliance.

As a university employee, you may be required to submit an annual disclosure because of your research activities, your university administrative/fiduciary role, or both.
